Do diagbox versions alter what you can inspect??

I'm trying to diagnose a pinging problem i'm having. My fuel pump is my first suspect because its sound has changed over the last couple months.

So i connect up lexia and in terms of live data, the info is very basic. I wanted to observe the short and long fuel trim values, but i can't find them. I've watched others just enter the ECU and its all there...

Can i not look at or find these things because my ECU is limited (motor 1.6 VTi 16V 115 [ECU =EC5] South American model). Or is this the result of the version i'm running??? I'm on 7.5 something, from memory...

Later versions of the software (lexia/diagbox) are produced to cover the later models.

Early lexia will only work on early cars but later versions will work with a later car and an early car, both.

Yes, you may be able to see some values but not others with an old version.

I've watched others just enter the ECU and its all there...

Your versions of lexia may not be able to understand or display those values.

Installing a later version of your software may be required but some older hardware boxes won't the later software.
