  • 2002 - 2005 Citroen C3 First Generation
    2002 brought us the first generation of Citroen C3 models designated FC/FN. A range of diesel and petrol engines were available with manual, automatic and sensodrive gearboxes.

  • 2006 - 2009 Citroen C3 First Generation Facelift
    October 2005 brought the Citroen C3 model a facelift. The front bumper and grill changed shape while the dashboard and speedo have been modified. The rear light clusters were upgraded from red tint to the crystal version. The range gained a 1.6 litre HDi 16v engine and lost the 1.4 16v.

  • 2002 - 2009 C3 Pluriel
    The Citroen C3 Pluriel is based on the 2002 Citroen C3 with an adaptable roof having several different configuration options. These include a soft top canvas roof that can be folded into the boot. The soft top can be stored, and the roof arches removed to alter the car's styling. Some computer network changes were made in 2005/2006 to keep the Pluriel in line with current Citroen C3 model production and parts.

  • 2009 - 2013 Citroen C3 Second Generation
    2010 brought the Citroen C3 its second generation. A new, larger body style with a restyled interior departs from the original 2002 design. This model was current up till 2013 where it was give its facelift.

    Engines inclued with the second generation are those from the first generation but added the BMW 'Prince' E..

    Designations used to identify the 2009 version of the Citroen C3 are SC, A51 and 'The Visiospace' from its advertising slogan at the time.
