definitely thinking of buying a c3 next time round, love the originals as they are distinctive and seem to wear well but expect that will be obliged to buy the latest we can afford ie 3 yrs old 20k

I agree, the early and facelift models look more distinctive and this is lost in the 2013 and on models, but you do get a much wider range of engine options and later technology when you buy the newer looking cars.

A nice looking original 2002 shape C3 early model with exclusive wheel trims, owned by one of our members

yes that's a good one - there are some lovely pastel colours too.

a long time ago i owned a 2cv, somehow the early c3 has that look slightly - or is it just me? haha

at least with these you don't have to look at the rear/description/badge to confirm its a citroen c3 so many other cars look the same as each other.

lovely french style :)

just out of interest, do you think that i would have much trouble doubling the mileage on something like this please?

FSH counts for something, its on the borderline for cambelt, has that been done?

100K seems to be a sticking point where things get worn out and the FSH can help but you still have non service items starting to show their age.

There are plenty of petrols that have passed the 100 mark, but there are plenty that have been uneconomical to repair....
