Citroen C3 SC/A51 Second Generation petrol and diesel engine options
The Second generation of Citroen C3 (the SC/A51) started life in late 2009 and became the 2010 model. Some of the engine options available were carried over from the previous original shape (facelift) models with the addition of the new VTi 'Prince' BMW and PSA-designed engines. These are small, high efficiency, all aluminium, variable valve timing with variable valve lift petrol engines.
The engines are mounted in the front of the car, along with the gearbox option that drives the front wheels.
